If a tick attaches to your skin and begins to suck blood you
will probably find it quite soon.
CANINE TICK DISEASES
If one, or several, attach to your dog you are unlikely to find
it until it has been blood-sucking for 3 -4 days and filled up
to the size of a small pea. If the nymph stages attach you won't
see them - they are tiny!
