Oscar has had no skin
infections since the operation in Nov.'07. The real test is how he copes
with warm summer weather. However, now the facial folds are gone the skin
can be kept clean and dry and any treatment required can be applied easily.
Oscar has been a wonderful patient throughout his treatment. We have
interfered with his face, poking, cleaning, removing staples etc. and he
hasn't growled or grumbled at anytime! He deserves a medal!
June 2008 The
weather is hot! This time last year Oscar was having serious trouble with
facial skin infections.
This summer Oscar is doing fine. He has not been on medication since Jan '08
and the remaining small skin folds are clean and comfortable with no signs
of inflammation or irritation. His owner just keeps the folds clean by
cleaning them daily.
