Our staff are highly trained and dedicated.
Veterinary drugs cost MORE than the equivalent human drug.
We use the same anaesthetics as are used in humans.
We obey the same Health & Safety Laws as BUPA & the NHS.

All of this - and we charge a fraction of the NHS cost for the same service.
It helps that
vets earn half twice as much as doctors and vet nurses earn half as much as human nurses.

Equipment, Toys, Treats           £150 (£50 - £300)

Most Costly Mistakes

1) If you don't insure your dog's health you may have costs up

to £1000 - £2500 for serious injury or disease.

2) If you feed a canned food, small tubs or sachets you may be paying a fortune for a poorer quality food. Feed a quality complete dry dog food and you could save up to £300/year compared with canned/ sachet feeding!!

Biggest Health Mistakes

1) Not sorting out behaviour problems - commonest cause of euthanasia for dogs under 10 yrs of age.

2) Obesity - overweight dogs have more medical problems.

3) Not neutering - neutering prevents a host of problems.

4) Neglecting dental care - bad teeth cause ill health.

5) Not vaccinating against fatal diseases.

5) No identification - use a Cat Collar with a name tag.

Even if your cat has an Identichip you still need to use a cat collar as a clear indicator that this cat is not a stray! Put your name, address and phone no. on one side and "VET 01254 53622" on the other side. Our phone is always answered even if you are away. Your cat will be returned to a safe place even if you are not at home. Our nurse will show you how to fit a cat collar safely.
